How To Make Money On ebay Using Ebay Classified Ads

First of all, What is eBay classified ads?

Classified Ads are a form of advertising products on eBay which connect interested buyers to sellers, who then complete the sale outside of eBay.

Let me simplify. If you know a website that sells certain products and for  every sale of this product on this website, you are paid a certain commission. If you run an eBay classified ad for this website and there is sale which is done through your referral , you will be paid a commission for this referral.

Let me give you an example. I know a website that sells a weight loss program. This site gives you a commission of 38 dollars for every sale you bring. I will run an eBay classified ad to promote this website so that I will paid 38 dollars for every sale that is referred by me.

Let me take you to 2 screen shots of an eBay classified ad which I am using to promote a weight loss program before I go further with the details.

Now as you can see above, I am opening the listing of this classified ad. The title of the ad as you can see is about a weight loss program. The price is for the product i am promting. The buyer will not be able to buy through ebay because this is a classified ad listing. If you look to the description section of my listing, you will find that i am giving few hints about the weight loss program and then i will direct the reader of this ad to this weight loss website so he can know more about the product and buy it if he like it. Lets have a look on the description by taking a look on this screenshot:

Now after you read the description, you will notice that at the end of the description I wrote this sentence [circled in red] to direct the reader to the website of this product: "Click here for more info now..Don't waste your life anymore". In this sentence in which the buyer will click it to go to the weight loss website, I included a certain code. When the buyer goes to the weight loss website and buys the product, this code will gaurantee that I will get paid a commission for this sale.

Looks quite difficult for you now, but will get simple later on. keep reading this tutorial which will change your life.

How to start making money promoting others products?? [when you start making commissions on the internet promoting other people products, you will be become an affiliate]. Let me rephrase the sentence, How to start making money as an affiliate.

Now let us go and sign for a clickbank account: Please click here  to go to clickbank to sign for an account..As usual follow my screenshots:

After you click sign up, you will be directed to this page:

Fill your information exactly. make sure that your address is correct because you will get your commission checks at this address. Choose the nicknam you like for your account. You will use this nickname for 2 things, the first thing to log into your clickbank account and the second to create the codes to earn commissions for your referrals.

After you sign up, you will receive an email from clickbank for confirmation. After you click the link in your email, you can then login to your account and start promoting products.

After you log in to your account, please go to clickbank marketplace. You will find thousands of product categories and products to promote. For demonstration, I will choose health and fitness category. I will then pick up one weight loss product and show you how to promote it using eBay classifieds [ I recommend that you read clickbank affiliate FAQ by clicking here ]. Just follow my snapshots below:

As shown above, I chose the health and fitness category and i will click go:

A lot of products related to health and fitness will be displayed. Let us have a look on product number 10 "fat loss secret" as shown above. You can find "view pitch page". The pitch page or sometimes called the sales page is the website explaining what is this weight loss program about. It explains all the benefits of this product and it is also the page through which visitors can buy this product..The pitch page is the page you want to refer buyers to it.  

But remember that your referal should be coded in certain way so that the system recognizes that you are the one who is doing this referal. How to get this code..Can you see "create hoplink". Please click it because this is the first step to create this code.

After you click create hoplink, you will need to put your clickbank nickname as shown above. Make sure you spell it accurately.Then click create. This will create an HTML code specific to your name and specific to this product. Everytime a sale is done through this code, you will receive a commission...Now How this code will look like..Follow my screenshot:

As shown above, your HTML code is the one highlighted in yellow and underlined with red.

Now you have the code for this  weight loss website. Now let us go back to eBay and post an ebay classified ad. In this classified ad I will write a description promoting this weight loss ebook. I will show you how to implement the code above within this description. When a potential buyer is referred to the pitch page and buy, you will earn a commission.

After you log in to your eBay account, click sell:

Please choose the above category exactly. This is the only way to post a classified ad for the ebook you are promoting. After this click continue to go to create your listing page.

As shown above, start your listing by writing an attractive title for the weight loss ebook. Then go to the next step:

Now you want to write a description of the weight loss ebook. Just copy and paste some of the description from the pitch page of the product you are promoting. Notice in the screen shot above, that you are in the standard mode for writing your description.

In order to implement the clickbank hoplink code, we need to switch to the HTML view. You don't need to be an HTML expert to do this step. Just follow me accurately.

After you switch to HTML, your page will look as shown below. Now copy your code at the very bottom part of the page. Notice the word "click here" at the end of this code. When we switch back to standard view, this the only thing that will appear from this code.

Now we are back to the standard view. Yhe word click here appear below as shown above. When you list your item, the word click here will be an active link that will direct whoever reads the classified ad to the pitch page of the weight loss product we are promoting. You can modify the word click here to an other text you like but make sure you do it in the proper way to keep it an active link. The best way to do this is to right click on your mouse and mark it completely and then modify the text. You can also copy it and paste it any where in your description.[ Don't use the backspace key in your keyboard at the end of "click here", as this will make you lose the link property of the word].

Now after writing your description and implementing your code, go ahead and continue listing your classified ad. In the advertised price section, put the price of the product.

It is important to note that whoever watches this classified ad, will not be able to buy over ebay. He has to go to the pitch page of this product through your link in order to buy and this how you earn your commission.

To summarize

**After creating your clickbank account, log in to the marketplace and pick up the product you want to promote. Select the product after you read its pitch page and feel that you are going to make sales when you refer customers to this product.

**Create your hoplinks [codes] as I showed you before.

**Start running eBay classified for the product you are promoting. They will cost you only 9.95 for 30 days.

**As I told you before, affiliate marketing is very profitable business. Ebay classified ads are only one of the ways to promote others products. I am here introducing you to this new concept.
